The Coach house, Eartham

Remodelling and extensions of a former Coach house.  The Coach house was converted to a private  house in the 1960's, prior to this the building was used as storage on the ground floor with grooms accomodation on the first floor. During the 1960's conversion bathrooms and a kitchen were added with flat roofs.  The renovation work recently carried out includes the removal of the flat roofs and construction of new clay tiled pitched roofs. A new entrance hall and staircase were formed. The kitchen was reconstructed with a purpose made joinery kitchen being designed by the architect . The building fabric and windows were refurbished and where possible insulation increased.
