Brandy Hole Lane, Chichester

A two storey extension and alterations to a 1930's house in Brandy Hole Lane, Chichester. This Arts and Crafts style house sits in a large plot in Brandy Hole Lane. The house had not been altered since being constructed. The alterations and extensions were carried out sympathetically to create a layout which suited the needs of the client. The existing house had a small dark kitchen and did not have good access to the rear garden from the principal rooms.A new kitchen and breakfast room was constructed with doors opening onto the terrace and garden. A masterbedroom and bathroom were constructed above with views to the downs to the north. Care was taken matching materials and in particular sourcing reclaimed roof tiling and fittings. The existing house was extensively updated during the work with new electrics, heating, plumbing, windows and decorations.
